HIFF Volunteer Program

HIFF Volunteers make our special events, educational programs, and film festivals a success! During the festival HIFF needs hundreds of volunteers to ensure that programs & events run smoothly and that audiences & guests have a great time.

HIFF Internship PROGRAM

HIFF internships offer opportunities to gain a broad range of work experiences in film festivals. HIFF interns work closely with festival staff to plan, coordinate, and implement special events, educational programs, and film screenings.

While internships are unpaid, festival staff will work with interns to gain school credit for work performed. HIFF requires a commitment of 15 to 40 hours per week and a set work schedule. Access to a car is preferred.
