Sunday at the festival

A full house for the SURF FILM TALK STORY listened intently on the experiences of the filmmakers who are shaping the future of the surf film genre. The seminar was filled with great insight and tons of humor.	Golden Maile Juror David Wenham (a.k.a. Faramir of the House of Stewards and Captain of Gondor) introduced LORD OF THE RINGS: RETURN OF THE KING to amazing crowd in Waikiki for Sunset on the Beach! Just one more day before the premiere of GETTIN' SQUARE at the historic Hawaii Theatre. David will intro the film that won him the AFI's Best Actor award!	Tim Toyama, producer of the short film DAY OF INDEPENDENCE, speaking to a sold out crowd! Representative Marcus Oshima introduced the show with a moving speech on the struggles of issei and nisei during the war.
