HIFF invites you to be part of Oscar Night® America 2005 as we roll out the red carpet at The Pacific Club on Sunday, February 27th. As a benefit for the festival and Hawaii’s only Oscar® Party sanctioned by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), this event is one of 45 official parties that will be held across the country on Oscar Night.

Beginning at 3pm, guests will watch the Academy Awards telecast on several large screens, through the courtesy of KITV-4, affiliate of the ABC Television Network, which broadcasts the Oscar® presentation.

In addition, guests may feel like stars themselves as they stroll down the HIFF Walk-of-Stars that displays individual and corporate donations made to HIFF. Gold stars may be purchased in increments of $25 and will include 2 tickets to your choice of film during the Spring Fling.

Aside from the glitz and glamour, there’s also a fun competition – The Predict the Winners Contest. Guests fill out ballots during the party and the winner will be notified that night of winning the grand prize. Past winners have won DVD players, a year of free video rentals, and neighbor island package giveaways. In addition, there will be door prizes, and a silent auction filled with great film memorabilia, autographed DVDs and entertainment packages.

For five hours of entertainment, dinner and drinks, limited tickets are available:

• $100 per person, HIFF Ohana Member
• $150 per person, General Admission Tickets
  without HIFF Ohana membership
• $1,000 Corporate Table of 10
