Join HIFF for Oscar Night® America!
Sunday, March 5, 2006, 3:00 p.m. -- Black Tie Optional
Advanced Telecast of the 78th Annual Academy Awards® Ceremony & Party
The Pacific Club -- Vineyard and Queen Emma

We are excited to combine the Hawaii International Film Festival's annual fundraiser with an official Oscar Night® America Party, sanctioned by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences!

Please encourage friends, family and colleagues to support the Festival through a fun and fabulous event with dinner, a silent auction and an advanced telecast of the Academy Awards. Monies raised from ticket sales and the silent auction will help sustain HIFF throughout 2006.

We will roll out the red carpet at the Pacific Club on Sunday, March 5 at 3:00 p.m. Guests will watch the Academy Awards telecast on several large screens, courtesy of KITV-4, affiliate of the ABC Television Network.

Aside from the glitz and glamour, there’s also a fun competition – The Predict the Winners Contest!
Guests will fill out ballots during the party and the winner will be notified that night! In the past, guests have won DVD players, a year of free video rentals, and neighbor island package giveaways. In addition, there will be door prizes, raffle items and a silent auction filled with film memorabilia, autographed DVDs, designer handbags, hotel stays and much more.

Here's how to buy tickets:

  • $100 per person, HIFF Ohana Member
  • $150 per person, General Admission Tickets (without HIFF Ohana Membership)
  • $1,000 per Corporate Table (seating ten)
