Filmmaker Instructions - 2011 Fall Festival

Aloha! Thank you for being a part of our 31st Annual Hawaii International Film Festival.

The information you provide for us below is very important because it will be used for our program guide and other publicity mediums (newspapers, television, internet, etc.) used to promote the festival.

1. If you have not done so please submit your film information by clicking on the link below. Do not enter information in all capital letters!

2. Please send HIFF a compressed archive of high-resolution digital images and your film's trailer through this online form.  Please specify the name of your film in the subject field and let us know which files have been included. One of your film images will be used for our printed program guide, and 3-5 of them will be used for our online program guide.
3. We will need the following promotional materials:
   • Two DVD screeners of your film. It must be NTSC Region 1 compatible.
   • A trailer or clips of your film in Quicktime .mov format and/or DVD format (digital files preferred).
     (We request either HD quality (1280x720 or 1920x1080) or DVD quality (720x480) files. Trailers should not be longer than 3 minutes.)
   • Two posters (optional)
   • Postcards (optional)
