It's official: 'x' is the new '+' is the old '&' It's official: 'x' is the new '+' is the old '&'The LIVE MUSIC SHOWCASE last Saturday night was a huge success this HIFF2010! Sign of the Horns to Chris Kahunahana at Nextdoor for providing the venue (mos def the best arena for live music in Chinatown).

For those who missed it, HIFF spotlighted Hawaii's local indie band scene -- notably, Clones of the Queen, Stephen Augustin, Shopping List, and Kings of Spade -- as part of our inaugural SOUND X VISION series. Best part is... it ain't over yet! We still got screenings of DOGS IN SPACE, SOUND OF NOISE, THIS MOVIE IS BROKEN, and WE'RE LIVIN' ON DOG FOOD.
