See Two Feature Films For Free This Month On Drama Fever
Thanks to a partnership between Asian Cinevision and Drama Fever, you can see two feature length films for free in May to celebrate Asian Heritage Month. These films were featured at the 2010 Asian American International Film Festival (New York City) in 2010. Both of these films are for mature audiences, so viewer discretion is advised. Director Kit Hui In Hong Kong, on the tenth anniversary of its reunification with China, a young man suffers from a rare amnesia and has his memory wiped clean. He must try to recall his past through the conflicting recollection of family and friends. As he realizes that vital clues from his past are being deliberately hidden, he must face the consequences of discovering the truth. |
Director Ian McCrudden Home from backpacking through South East Asia for three years, thrill-seeker Emmie returns to Los Angeles, after receiving a mysterious letter from Ricky, a companion of her recently-deceased drug-addict mother, Sunny. As she takes off on a journey in search of her inheritance, Emmie is unexpectedly joined by her sister Eve. As the sisters recall their mother and their past, the two begin to uncover what it is that drove them apart and what it is that can bring them together. |
