HIFF has 8 films submitted for the Best Foreign Language Film at the Oscars!
Every year there are 5 finalists for the Best Foreign Language Film category at the Oscars. At this time, 65 countries have submitted their best film to be considered for the award. Out of those 65 films in contention, HIFF is now screening eight of them: CARANCHO, NUUMMIOQ, ECHOES OF THE RAINBOW, PEEPLI LIVE, SON OF BABYLON, CONFESSIONS, MONGA, UNCLE BOONMEE WHO CAN RECALL HIS PAST LIVES.
