Programmers’ Picks: Here’s what to see this weekend at HIFF Spring Showcase

The HIFF programming team has secured 35 films from 16 countries for this year’s 20th edition of the HIFF Spring Showcase, which starts today with THE PRISON as the Opening Night Film and ends on April 9 with CHASING CORAL closing the festival. Korean films thrill at HIFF Spring Showcase

Korean films are back at the HIFF Spring Showcase! We are screening 4 new Korean titles including THE PRISON as our Opening Night Film, the U.S. premiere of the murder mystery BLUEBEARD, and the Korean American film GOOK, which won the NEXT Audience Award at the recently concluded Sundance Film Festival and also falls on the 25th anniversary of the Los Angeles riots.
