Delegate & Press Accreditation
REGISTRATION FOR THE 36TH ANNUAL HAWAII INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (NOVEMBER 3-13, 2016) IS NOW CLOSED.
Information below is perennial policy for every film festival edition. Accreditation acceptance is now on a case-by-case basis, but because of the high volume of guests managed during HIFF, your inquiry may not be answered in a timely manner. For future festival editions, we suggest you plan your attendance by applying before the accreditation deadline.
Thank you for your interest in Festival accreditation. In order to be considered an accredited delegate, you must be at least one of the following:
- A filmmaker with a film in this year’s festival
- Work in the film industry (example: filmmaker, film festival programmer, distributor, etc..)
For feature-length films in the festival, we can extend two complimentary accreditations per film, and one complimentary accreditation for short films. All others can gain accreditation at at a cost of $200 per person, subject to approval of delegate status. Please click on the link below in order to apply. Once approved the Guest Services team will send you a link for payment processing. If you have personally received an invitation from HIFF to participate in this year’s festival, you will have received an email from HIFF Staff, please reply to your email invitation.

All press accreditation must be approved by the Festival publicity team. Press accreditation is limited. If you have never attended HIFF as a press delegate, or have not received an invitation by the PR team, then you can apply at the link below (pending final approval):
